This stream is open to:

  • Individuals aged 21–59

  • Candidates with a full-time, permanent job offer from an eligible Newfoundland & Labrador (NL) employer
  • Jobs in any TEER 0 to 5 occupation — even lower-skilled positions can qualify
  • Offers guaranteeing 30+ hours per week for at least 1 year

Key Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must meet education, training, and certification standards for the role
  • Language Proficiency:

TEER 4 or 5: Minimum CLB 4 (IELTS: 4.0–4.5)

TEER 0–3: Usually CLB 5+

  • Show proof of settlement funds to cover your living, relocation, and PR application
  • If already in Canada: Have valid status with at least 4 months remaining on your permit

Who Cannot Apply?

  • Refugee claimants
  • Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) holders — must apply under different NLPNP categories like International Graduate or Express Entry
